3/8 The Golden Pig Cook Off
Are you an aspiring chef? A grill master hobbyist?
Test your skills at our inaugural cook off, and
compete for the title of Pit Master and Cast “Iron
Chef” on March 8, 2025 at 251 Lucky Strike Drive
Marion, NC 28752!
To compete for the high regarded title of Pit Master,
you will provide a delectable plate of pig and show
yourself to be a bird tamer with fall-off-the-bone
chicken.
To compete for the desired title of Cast “Iron Chef”
you will have the choice of what side item, BUT it
has to be cooked in cast iron.
We will provide the meat: Boston butts and chicken; you provide the side dish!
Participant entry fee is $50 per competition.
This competition is blind judged and prizes are payback money plus a certificate proving you are in fact the best.
